allow letterboxes? should letterboxes be allowed or secret? should we
ASK permission? what about secrecy? Plant your boxes(respectfully)
where you will and damn the consequences. as for the NPS, boxes should
not be allowed; as it would encourage off trail wanderings leading to
erosion, pollution and liability issues. BUT plant your boxes there
anyway; just be WAY more creative about your clues, or better yet;
make them WOM clues. I live pretty much in a national park, and am I
upset because there aren't enough boxes to find? wink-wink. no, though
finding clues can be really hard.
